The documentary series “The MajesticTruffle´´ tells us of two things. One is the intimate story of the life of a dying village and its unlikely salvation by the newfound culture of cultivating and harvesting one of the greatest culinary gifts that nature has to offer. And the second is that of the mastery of the best chefs in Spanish restaurants, both with and without a Michelin star, in the preparation of dishes based on the black truffle of Teruel.
This series takes a mouth-watering look into the worlds of the production and consumption of this strange and mysterious subterranean Spanish mushroom.
